DESCRIPTION:Join us for an underwater adventure where you stay dry (or at least not salty) on the dock as our divers team up with an underwater ROV to live stream exactly what they encounter below the surface. Staff biologists and trained volunteers will identify the sea life that appears on the silver screen and share information about the incredible life that calls the Salish Sea home. Animals we have encountered at past events include: Feather-duster tube worms; sculpin\, and gunnels; red rock\, kelp and graceful crabs; various nudibranch species; giant Pacific octopus\, and much more. Each show is one of a kind\, so come on down to the dock and see what we find and learn more about what you can do to protect the Puget Sound.\n\nWe are thrilled to be partnering with 7Seas Brewing to bring Pier Into the Night to their dock – and keep you warm and undercover in their incredible downstairs space. It is still outdoors\, so bundle appropriately. All ages are welcome at the 7 Seas Brewing so join the fun.\n\nPier Into the Night is FREE with no RSVP required. DESCRIPTION:As there is so much to see\, we recommend picking a farm on either the north or south end of the KP to start your day (the Farm Tour runs from 10AM to 4PM).  You can find a list of all our farms and stops here. Some of our farms are only available on the first day\, so make sure and plan accordingly. \nYou won’t want to miss the Fiber Arts and Antique Car Show at the Longbranch Improvement Club.  Here you’ll find craft vendors\, food\, music and more. \nGateway Park is bringing back an Apple Cider Squeeze to the Key Peninsula! It’s a wonderful tradition to bring the community together once again. We’ll be hosting the squeeze event at Gateway Park on the second day of the annual KP Farm Tour from 10am to 4pm. \nPurchase fresh squeezed apple cider. Available by the glass ($2)\, quart ($5)\, 1/2 gallon ($8)\,  or gallon ($12). Apple fritters are ($5). Also available are Farm Tour Water Bottles ($5) each for the first 60 guests. DESCRIPTION:Join Harbor WildWatch for a fun and educational public beach walk program on the stunning shorelines of the Salish Sea. Our knowledgeable and friendly biologists and volunteer naturalists will guide you through a hands-on exploration of the intertidal zone\, where you will discover the incredible diversity of marine life that calls our local waters home.\nDuring the program\, you’ll learn good beach etiquette and get the chance to touch and examine creatures such as sea stars\, crabs\, and sea anemones\, while learning about their unique adaptations and behaviors. You’ll also hear about the challenges facing our ocean ecosystems\, and what you can do to help protect them.\nThis beach walk program is suitable for all ages and skill levels\, and is perfect for families\, school groups\, or anyone with an interest in the natural world. Whether you’re a seasoned beachcomber or a first-time visitor\, Harbor WildWatch’s beach walk program is sure to leave you with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and complexity of our local marine environment.\nOur programs run in all weather\, so please dress appropriately. We recommend closed-toe shoes for safety – rain boots\, water shoes\, or an old pair of sneakers you don’t mind getting a little wet and muddy work great. Bring a water bottle\, sunscreen\, layers\, and a snack if you think you will need it. Each beach walk will last approximately 60-90 minutes but you are welcome to peel off at any time before the beach walk concludes. Harbor WildWatch programs are always free\, but a suggested donation of $2 per person or $5 family is appreciated.\nPenrose Point State Park:\nDiscover Pass Required: $30 per year or $10 per day\, available online at https://discoverpass.wa.gov/ or at pay stations at the park.\nGetting to the Beach: Once you pass the first gate into the park\, you will take a right at the “T” in the road. This will lead you to the general parking area (don’t forget to display your Discover Pass). We will meet on the lawn near the restroom at the scheduled start time. Look for Harbor WildWatch staff and volunteers wearing blue. If you arrive late\, find us on the beach!\nTerrain: There is a sloped sandy path or a short step down the eroding bank to the beach. This is a low sloping beach with cobble\, gravel\, sand\, mud\, and occasional boulders. There is a compact sandy stretch exposed at low tide that leads to an area of hard clay.
