Join us for an underwater adventure where you stay dry (or at least not salty) on the dock as our divers team up with an underwater ROV to live stream exactly what they encounter below the surface. Staff biologists and trained volunteers will identify the sea life that appears on the silver screen and share information about the incredible life that calls the Salish Sea home. Animals we have encountered at past events include: Feather-duster tube worms; sculpin, and gunnels; red rock, kelp and graceful crabs; various nudibranch species; giant Pacific octopus, and much more. Each show is one of a kind, so come on down to the dock and see what we find and learn more about what you can do to protect the Puget Sound.
This program runs regardless of the weather, so dress for the weather. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chair or blanket. Those with umbrellas should plan to be at the back to not restrict others view of the show.
