Oh, boy, do we have a wild ride for you this month! On Monday, July 28th, we will be screening the dark comedy Friendship. Join us at Galaxy Theaters Gig Harbor at 6:30 pm for this hilariously twisted film.
Suburban dad Craig (played by the ridiculously awkward Tim Robinson) becomes infatuated with his charming new neighbor (played by Paul Rudd), but when his attempts to make an adult male friend fail, his bids to win him over soon threaten to ruin both of their lives.
The trailer feels like a horror film (brought to you by A24), but the comedy lies in its intensity. The nightmare of trying to make friends as a socially awkward adult and the craziness of family dysfunction create a fine line between insanity, absurdity, and hilarity.
